Step into a Slimming World summer, where you absolutely can swap your coffee for a deliciously creamy, ice-cold frappé – and still get a cool weight loss result on the scales! 

While coffee shop frappés do look tempting, they can quickly sabotage your slimming plans. We’ve whizzed up a simple two-step Slimming World recipe to hit that sweet spot in just five minutes (quicker than standing in the cafe queue!).

Slimming World frappes

Tropical mango frappé 

Our totally tropical mango frappé brings the holiday vibes. Pop your straw into this fruity Food Optimising treat and let it transport you to soft sands and turquoise waters… 

makes 1 
9 Syns (deduct 6 Syns if using semi-skimmed milk as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice) 
ready in 5 mins 

What you need: 

250ml semi-skimmed milk 
½ tsp coconut flavouring – or you could use orange, banana or vanilla extract if you prefer  
ice cubes  
15g reduced-fat squirty cream  
chopped fresh or frozen mango, to decorate, optional  

For the sauce: 

50g prepared fresh or frozen mango chunks  
1 level tsp sweetener granules 

What you do: 

1. To make the sauce, blitz the mango with the sweetener, then push it through a sieve into a jug. Drizzle half of the sauce around the inside of a glass. 

2. Blitz the milk, coconut flavouring and ice cubes in your food processor. Pour the frappé into the glass then top with the cream, the remaining sauce and the chopped mango, if using.

Strawberry and vanilla frappé 

The sweet strawberry and vanilla frappé is berry, berry tasty. Game, set and match to Slimming World! 

makes 1 
8½ Syns (deduct 6 Syns if using semi-skimmed milk as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice) 
ready in 5 mins 

What you need: 

250ml semi skimmed milk  
½ tsp vanilla extract  
ice cubes  
15g reduced-fat squirty cream  
sliced strawberry decoration if you wish  

For the sauce: 

50g strawberries, hulled  
1 tsp sweetener granules  

What you do: 

1. To make the sauce, blend the strawberries and sweetener, then pass through a sieve into a jug. Drizzle half of the sauce around the inside of a glass. 

2. Blitz the milk, vanilla and ice cubes in your food processor/blender. Pour the frappé into the glass and top with the cream, the remaining sauce and strawberries, if using.

Choca mocha frappé 

Sometimes that coffee hit is still needed, even on the sunniest days – and this darkly delicious chocolatey drink will cool you down and pep you up! 

makes 1 
9½ Syns (deduct 6 Syns if using semi-skimmed milk as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice) 
ready in 5 mins 

What you need: 

1 tsp coffee granules (dissolve in 1 tsp boiling water and let cool) 
250ml semi skimmed milk  
1 level tsp cocoa powder 
ice cubes  
2 level tsp Choc Shot
15g reduced-fat squirty cream  

What you do: 

1. Put the coffee, milk, cocoa powder and two handfuls of ice cubes into a food processor/blender and whizz until frothy.  

2. Drizzle one level tsp of choc shot around the inside of the glass. Pour in the blended coffee mix and top with the light squirty cream and the remaining choc shot.
